It was after my son begged me to let him have a cat. I was so afraid that it took me extra time getting home and as soon as I got home, he jumped on me and all the time he would jump on me and I'd almost have a nervous breakdown but eventually, I ended up feeding him, taking care of him, and loving him as if he were my very own child. He was a very smart cat. Unfortunately, I had to give him up and when I did it took me a couple of years to stop thinking about him as if I had just given up my child. He was part of me and my son became somewhat of a total stranger to him. He would just bypass his room. Anyway, your story reminded me of Jonathan. I am sure that Mica is very precious to you. She is certainly adorable. Actually, my friend who had a cat would also hiss at me so I didn't really like them. When I met my hubby he had a cat, which passed away several years ago, that didn't like me at first. She would run away and would be anti-social with everyone. I was like, great...

But over the years she and I became friends and we loved each other. Now I love cats!Jerynhttp://mangoisland.squarespace.comnoreply@blogger.com
